Static science

On world book day we carried out an investigation with static electricity. Using balloons we rubbed it on our hairs to conduct the electricity. We then experimented with water to male it wiggle, cans to make them roll, sticking them to the walls, trying to get our hair standing up and making our butterflies flap their wings.  ðŸ¦‹⚡🎈

Aistear: People who help us

In November we looked at people who help us. The fire brigade, gardaí and the doctors were three main people we named. We explored building and constructing our own hospitals, fire engines, Garda stations and much more. We designed uniforms for the emergency services, and created hat's to use in our drama area. We told played as the emergency service men and women by dressing up and creating scenarios with our groups.
